Why do sloping blocks cost more to build on?
Whilst the view and positioning may be great, when buying on a sloping block there is much more to consider that on a level horizontal block. They are challenging to build on and require far more work in earthworks, foundations, drainage, erosion, retaining walls. The knowledge of a good builder with experience on sloping blocks will be essential to the integrity of the home and withstanding the test of time.

Can I use bleach, ammonia products to clean my bathroom or will it break down the bondings?
It’s been proven that harsh chemicals like bleach and ammonia aren’t effective in removing mould. The problem with bleach is that is does nothing to remove the mould. Instead, it bleaches colour giving the illusion of a mould-free surface. Six weeks later it appears to come back, but it was never gone.
We recommend a vinegar solution to break down the fungi as it kills the mould.

Steps
1. Pour a concentration of 80% vinegar to 20% water into three buckets
2. Grab a microfibre cloth, dip it into the first bucket and clean a patch of mould
3. Rinse the cloth in the second bucket, and rinse again in the third
4. Repeat until all mould is cleaned off
5. Wipe areas with dry microfibre cloth when finished

Standard inclusions are the fixtures and features that are included in the price of your quote e.g. lights, fans, windows. Any or all of these items can be adjusted to meet your taste and budget.
Can I go out on site?
Yes there are allowances for clients to visit the site and Craig will discuss this with you when you meet.
Do you cater for fengshui in your home designs?
The short answer is yes. Craig understands that building a home requires more than just engineering. When catering to an international clientele, it is necessary to understand a clients specific cultural requirements and integrate them into the designs. Craig has catered for clients in the past with such request and welcomes the diversity.
Can I call the builder after hours?
The best point of contact is via email as keeping a written dialogue is important to communicating the build. Craigs checks his emails every weekday morning and if there are any concerns they can be address immediately. Craig is available by mobile during business hours and endeavors to maintain a healthy work family balance, however he does understand there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances.
